Dresden millennial vision for downtown was so grand that it seemed almost beyond reach. But once the vision was rendered , skepticism transformed into enthusiasm. In what seemed to be record time, the town completed the public aspects of the vision within a year. And though the architectural aspects of the vision are still in development, the urban environment of downtown has been transformed. Town Square feels more like an urban living room than a bustling business center . And for those that like landscaping and blooming flowers in the spring, downtown is a room with a view. |
