In 2007, the city completed part one of its vision for downtown, incorporating many elements of that vision. The biggest change was a reversed plan footprint, with diagonal parking occurring on the opposite side of the street due to two way traffic. The original vision considered one way traffic leading into a new farmers market beyond. The Farmers Market is still being considered. A fantastic thing about Kenton is its’ CAN DO attitude. The town rolled up its sleeves and made the improvements itself, and even today continues to make downtown an even better place to do business.
