Architectural Lighting Studies |

In most cases, developing lighting concepts is yet another element of urban design. And sometimes, its simply a value add, another tool to garner support for a project. But in some cases, the project’s sole intent is lighting. One recent project dealt with lighting an American stone ruin, a Heritage Site. And several years ago, I had the opportunity to work with TVA and local communities to develop lighting schemes for various urban districts throughout the southeastern US. One larger project addressed lighting in order to generating new business traffic at night by improving the overall atmosphere of the urban experience. The project even addressed projected dynamic lighting in alleys. |
